Therapy & Education:
Approach:
"Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it." - Tori Amos

I offer counseling in the shape of companionship, sanctuary, and a safe harbor in the storms of life.

My aim is, first and foremost, connection. A trusting relationship and emotional safety will enable us to explore together the hurting, confusing, and intimidating places we all experience.

The decision to begin counseling is not an easy one. Facing yourself, your trauma, and your pain takes real courage. My mission and passion are to guide you sensitively and surely towards finding and embracing your courage, your clarity, and your power.
Therapy Style:
I have worked with individuals, groups, and in crisis intervention, supporting a wide variety of people with different backgrounds, ages, genders, and nationalities. We all have the same needs in common: connection, healing, and peace.

I approach mental health with the belief that individuals are the experts of their own lives; we know ourselves best. So, I use a collaborative approach in supporting the individual throughout their healing journey. I strive to work with individuals to uncover areas that hold them back from healing, help identify long term problems and solutions, explore the roots of their pain and negative behavioral patterns, and engage in relational work that is individualized for each person. No two people are alike; therefore, no two therapy approaches should be either.
