Therapy Style:
I enjoy working with teens and adults with various wellness goals. Some of my interest areas include
anxiety, depression, life stress, and impacts of traumatic stress. Some people come to counseling
because they want to make changes in their life. Some people struggle with their ability to feel
safe/regulated in their bodies and with others, and often feel like they are constantly in survival mode.
Some people struggle with experiencing shame, self-confidence, and feeling as if there is something
wrong with them. Many people find it helpful to process their experiences and learn more effective
wellness practices and coping tools. I offer a flexible, integrative, and collaborative approach that
embraces curiosity, compassion, respect, and fun. I honor trauma informed, client centered, and
culturally sensitive practices. I am an EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
and certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I love what I do and I take this work very
seriously. What is most important is that therapy feels safe, is helpful, and meaningful to those I work
with. I particularly enjoy working with those who are new to therapy or who have had negative
experiences with therapy in the past.
