Get to Know Ann

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I started my mental health career out of a desire to help people heal. I believe people have the ability to heal when given the right resources and support. During my work in the field of substance abuse counseling, I noticed how substance abuse and mental health were deeply connected. I decided to pursue a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in order to provide a wider range of therapeutic interventions to better assist my clients in their healing journey.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, fishing, hiking, traveling, photography and being out in nature.
